Is the site for runners or walkers or both? The site accommodates
both running groups and walking groups. Also, many of the walkers on the site aspire
to start running at some point. You will find all paces, distances, and many members
to help motivate you to reach your personal goals.
Do I have to run/walk pushing a child or can I run without my children?
Some groups run/walk with strollers and others without. Some groups meet evenings and weekends without children and others meet weekdays with children. Each group is different. Any Mom is welcome to bring children or come without (lucky you)!

I registered on the site. Now what do I do?
After you register it is up to you how involved you become as a Member. You can find and join a group, email other members to get together, or start a new group in your area. You can also post questions on Group Bulletin Boards or email Group Leaders for more details about specific Groups.
How do I contact other Members?
After you login, click on "View All Groups" then you will see "Member Directory" on the
navigation bar. The Member Directory shows all members in all cities for your State.
You can email Members by clicking on their names.
How do I start a new group?
After you login, click on "view all groups" then click on the name of your city. There will be a button in the top right hand of the screen that says "Start a New Group Here". Click there and then it will walk you through the steps.
What is involved in being a Group Leader?
As a Group Leader you will have a group calendar to list all of your walks or run. You can assign a co-leader (maybe to lead the running or walking). Your members can post info on the group message board, you can email the entire group, etc. Oh, and every time you add something to the calendar it will email the entire group (unless you turn off this feature).
What if I cannot find a group in my area?
The site relies on Moms willing to start groups in their areas.
If a group has not yet been started in your area you can either Start a New Group
or wait until a new group is formed that is convenient for you - when a new group is
formed an email is automatically sent to members in that city. Also, check for
groups in areas close to where you live.
What if my State is not listed on the site?
The site is now nationwide.
My city does not show up next to my zip code. What do I do?

Can I remove myself from a group?
There is a "Leave This Group" link on every Group page. Login, go to your Group, and click "Leave This Group.
I joined a group but no one has contacted me. What should I do?
If you join a Group and receive no communication the Group may be inactive or in a transitional state. Email the Group Leader to find out when and where they meet. You can also post a message on the Group's Bulletin Board. Some groups stop meeting during severe cold or hot weather, etc. Some groups do not have enough interest and can stop meeting all together. Please report these groups to us at
andrea@seeMOMMYrun.com.
How do I find more members for my group?
If you are a Group Leader or Member of a Group and you would like to find more members, here are a few suggestions:
• There is a flyer that you can print and post in your neighborhood. The flyer is located in your "Group Leader Toolbox" on your group's home page. Most coffee shops, grocery stores, churches, etc. have a "community board" where you can post flyers. • Also, does your community have a community newsletter? They will typically mention your group for free.
• Do you belong to any other moms groups or take your children to playgroups, etc? If so, you can mention it at those places. Some group leaders even print out little faux business cards (also located in the "Group Leader Toolbox" or small flyers to hand to other moms. That works really, really well.
• You can also view the "Member Directory" on the web site and search for members in your area - then send them an email to invite them to join your group.
• Your local newspaper probably has a "Community Events" section. You can email them a short 2-sentences about your group. I suggest sending an exact date, time, and location for your next walk or run, plus your contact info.
